Today marks Day 2 of IBM Think 2025. In addition to attending keynotes and sessions, I spent more time exploring the showcase floor, visiting various themed zones and partner booths. I also had in-depth conversations with many product owners and engineers. Here’s a summary of today’s key takeaways and highlights:


🎯 The Core Theme: AI and watsonx Everywhere

Regardless of which zone or booth you visited, one thing was clear — AI was the dominant theme throughout the venue. IBM’s flagship AI solution watsonx was prominently featured, with demos of watsonx.data, watsonx.governance, and watsonx.ai, each tied to real-world use cases such as AI-powered automation, data governance, and observability.


🔥 Crowd Magnet: Real Ferrari F1 Car on Display

The most eye-catching attraction today? A real Ferrari F1 race car, on display thanks to IBM’s sponsorship. Beyond brand synergy, the Ferrari team also actively leverages IBM’s AI, cloud, and data solutions to enhance racing strategy and team operations. Standing this close to a real F1 car — and understanding the tech behind it — was a thrill!


🤝 Partner Power: Global Tech Giants Show Up in Force

Beyond IBM’s own technologies, the showcase floor was filled with leading global partners. Highlights included:

  • AWS: Demonstrated hybrid cloud acceleration and modernization journeys in collaboration with IBM
  • Oracle: Showcased data modernization and enterprise platform integration
  • Meta: Presented Llama2 and open AI ecosystem integrations, including code assistants and AI workflows
  • Salesforce: Featured Agent/force for CRM enhancement with AI
  • Adobe: Focused on creative and marketing automation integrations with IBM’s ecosystem
  • NASA: Partnered with IBM and ESA to build geospatial AI models for climate and disaster analytics

💬 From Open Source to Enterprise: Conversations at HashiCorp & Red Hat

I spent meaningful time at the HashiCorp and Red Hat booths, diving into discussions on moving from open-source tools to commercial enterprise deployments. Topics included how Terraform, Vault, and Consul are being used in hybrid and on-prem environments. Red Hat’s showcase focused on OpenShift and enterprise DevSecOps deployment strategies — highly relevant to modern IT architecture.

🔍 Deep Dive: Instana, Turbonomic, Concert, and webMethods

I also explored several other IBM technologies, speaking directly with booth experts about:

  • Instana: Full-stack observability with proactive issue detection
  • Turbonomic: Dynamic optimization of app resources, ideal for hybrid cloud
  • Concert: AI agent-driven solutions for application resilience
  • webMethods Hybrid Integration: Similar to SAP PI, it provides streamlined enterprise system integration for enhanced process management

All of the above products can be integrated with watsonx and HashiCorp to deliver a comprehensive AI automation solution.

🎯 展場最核心:AI 與 watsonx 無所不在

無論是哪一個主題區或展示 booth,「AI」都是貫穿全場的主軸。尤其是 IBM 主打的 AI 解決方案 watsonx,不論是 watsonx.data、watsonx.governance 或 watsonx.ai,都搭配實際應用案例展出,包括 AI-powered automation、資料治理、數據可觀測性等應用。


🔥 展場最吸睛:Ferrari F1 真車現身!

本屆展區中最吸引人潮的,絕對是由 Ferrari 提供、IBM 贊助的 F1 真實賽車。現場展示 Ferrari F1 車輛,讓大家可以近距離欣賞車體設計與細節,氣場十足、帥氣爆表。不只是品牌合作,Ferrari 車隊也實際運用 IBM 的 AI、雲端與資料平台技術,提升賽車策略與團隊管理效率,是真正的「科技下場參戰」。


🤝 全球科技巨頭齊聚,合作方案完整亮相

除了 IBM 自家產品,本屆 Think 展場也聚集了眾多全球合作夥伴,包括:

  • AWS:與 IBM 共同展示混合雲加速與企業現代化轉型方案;
  • Oracle:在資料與應用現代化上展出整合平台;
  • Meta:展示 Llama2 與開放式 AI 生態整合,包含程式輔助、AI 工作流等;

我特別停留在 HashiCorp 與 Red Hat 的展位,與現場技術代表深入討論從 Open Source 到 Enterprise Commercial 的轉換實務。對於 Terraform、Vault、Consul 這類開源工具如何在混合雲與本地部署中商用落地,也有很有啟發的交流。Red Hat 的展位則分享了 OpenShift 與企業內部 DevSecOps 的部署經驗,對於系統架構設計也帶來新想法。

我也與 booths 人員交流了其他 IBM 在Automation所提供的產品與解決方案,包括:

  • Concert:打造 application resilience 的 AI agent 解決方案;
